St. Patty’s Day at Landmark
What better way to celebrate the start of spring than by doing as the Irish do? St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching and Landmark Resort is well prepared with a St. Patrick’s Day feast which is open to the public. It will be held at both the Gazebo and Latitudes restaurants at the resort. The special menu will include: the chef's vegetables, cabbage and corn beef along with Irish potatoes. Tea, coffee and a special green beer (Green Guinness) will also be served. This Irish style meal is only $9.95 per person and $11.09 with tax.
This special menu will be available at the Gazebo restaurant and the Latitudes restaurant during the following dates:
Saturday: March 15, 2014 (11:00 am -11:00 pm)
Sunday: March 16, 2014 (11:00 am - 10:00 pm)
Monday: March 17, 2014 (11:00 am - 10:00 pm)
Besides the great eats you can get from St. Patrick's day food at Landmark, be sure to check out the Myrtle Beach area celebrations! One of the biggest all-day events with no entry fee is on Saturday March 15, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am and will be held at Downtown Myrtle Beach. This 4th annual celebration will block off Ocean Boulevard for the public to enjoy festivities like games, contests, and a variety inflatables for kids to play on in the Kids Zone. There will also be an array of food, drink and gift vendors, as well as live music entertainment. The bands performing for this event include: Passafire and Weaving the Fate, Bullfrog, Austin Mowery Band, Myrtle Beach Regional Pipe and Drum Band, and The Paul Grimshaw Band.
Hosted by Tilted Kilt at Broadway at the Beach, the St. Patrick's Day celebration will begin at 9:00 am with a 5k run around Broadway at the Beach on March 16. All runners that participate will receive a 5k t-shirt, gift bag, and an Irish breakfast buffet from Tilted Kilt after the completion of the race.
