Family Friendly Late Winter Events

Thunder and Light Featuring All That is a show put on by The Carolina Opry which uses original dance routines by nationally famous clogging group All That!. This and the laser light show along with wonderful dancing talent makes for an unforgettable show to experience.  Tickets are $29.95 for adults and $21 for children.  The first Thunder & Light show will begin on January 17th at 7 p.m.



Myrtle Beach Marathon, Winter Myrtle Beach EventMyrtle Beach Marathon, Half Marathon, Neon Night 5K and Ripley's Family Fun Run will be the healthy highlights of February in Myrtle Beach.  The Ripley's Family Fun Run is one mile long and will begin and finish near Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach. If your family is active and prefers to have fun outdoors, then join the fellow runners outside of Ripley's Aquarium at 5:30 p.m. Friday, February 13th.  The Neon Night 5K will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, February 13th at Ripley's Aquarium and will end at Pelican's Stadium.  The path will be lit up with vibrant lights and awards will be given for the top three runners in various age groups.  The Myrtle Beach Marathon and Half Marathon is an annual tradition which sets hearts racing in the early morning of Valentine's Day.  The races will begin at 6:30 a.m. on February 14th



Surfrider Oyster Roast & Bloody Mary Contest will be held at Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach from noon until 5 p.m. On Sunday, February 15th.  There will be all you can eat oysters for just $15 per person and $10 per person for samples of Bloody Mary from Myrtle Beaches' best bartenders.
