Entertainment Spotlight: Medieval Times
A special season of entertainment awaits you, all year long at Medieval Times. Travel into the past with your entire family for drinks, dinner, and a show that will create a permanent memory during your family vacation. Located less than six miles away from the Landmark Resort, it is not far to travel into centuries of the past. When you arrive you will see there is stadium-type seating to watch the knight's sword fight and the horses and riders fight to be champions. Costumed in full attire and seated on majestic horses, you will be easily entranced into this old and once forgotten world as you watch the knights. Cheer on your knight through the jousting tournament in hopes that he reigns victorious over the other knights and their horses. Imagine yourself at the stadium of one of medieval Europe’s famous castles, like the Dulunce castle in Northern Ireland or the many French castles whose existence shaped the history of Europe. It is in these castles that tournaments and jousting events would entertain the crowds, celebrate new unions between noble families, and help forge the course of nations and events throughout history.
Join the feast! There is full course dinner that includes: oven-roasted chicken, herb-roasted potatoes, tomato bisque soup, spare ribs, garlic bread, and dessert. There is also a vegetarian option meal that includes hummus, warm pita bread, carrots, celery, 3-bean stew with fire-roasted tomato and brown rice, and fresh fruit or Italian ice (if available) as dessert. There is also a full bar service before, during, and after the show.
