What’s For Dinner? Myrtle Beach Restaurants – Landmark Staff pick of the week: Sea Captain’s House

Where do we go for dinner? This is probably the toughest question you face every day while you’re on vacation. The Grand Strand is home to literally thousands of restaurants featuring cuisines from every corner of the world right alongside traditional southern favorites. Let our staff at The Landmark take some of the pressure off, by sharing some of OUR favorite places to eat.

This week’s staff choice:  Sea Captain’s House

Who Picked It: April, winter rental activity coordinator

Why they love it:  They have friendly staff and a phenomenal view of the ocean

Last Visit: February 15 for a day after Valentine’s Dinner with her husband

What’s on the menu: The Sea Captain’s House received Southern Living’s ‘Best Seafood Restaurant Reader’s Choice’ award. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, they have something on the menu to please everyone. Traditional favorites like country ham and eggs benedict can be a great way to start your busy day of being lazy at the beach, while a mid day meal of fried seafood baskets, sandwiches, salads and homemade soups are also available. If you try the Sea Captain’s House for dinner, make sure you try the locals favorite Long Bay Stuffed Flounder or the Jambalaya. The dining room is sure to make you feel right at home as it is actually a dining room in a home. The unique atmosphere and excellent food are a must try during your stay.

Where they are: The Sea Captain’s House is located at 3002 North Ocean Blvd. in Myrtle Beach, on the oceanfront.
