2017 4th of July Celebration, Myrtle Beach Style

4th of July in Myrtle Beach

One of the biggest American holidays loved and celebrated by all is almost here. Red white and blue covers the town in way of outfits, balloons, drinks and of course, fireworks!

If you prefer to stay at the resort and celebrate our country's freedom by hanging out by the pool then you have made a great choice in choosing Landmark Resort! On the 4th of July we will be celebrating with live entertainment and more. Grab a beverage from the Tipsy Turtle Pool Bar and dance the afternoon away with our poolside DJ!

2017 4th of July activities at Landmark include:

●      9:30 am to 12:30 pm Salty the Shark Appearances

●      10:00 am to 6:00 pm Hair Braiding & Wraps, $5 per braid and $2 per inch for hair wraps

●      11:00 am to 1:00 pm Live Entertainment

●      1:00 pm to 4:00 pm DJ Poolside

If you prefer to take it easy and relax, grab some sunblock and enjoy the day the American way, by swimming and splashing with the kids as you sip on something cool and sweet and wait for the sun to go down.  Walk out to the beachfront in the evening and you are sure to see and hear fireworks going off everywhere.

Experience The Fourth At Broadway At The Beach

Broadway at the Beach is a close option if you want to venture outside of the resort where you can take care of all your entertainment, dining and fireworks watching needs in one place.

Start the day at the magical, informative, interesting and all age accommodating WonderWorks, which is a cross between an interactive museum and an indoor theme park with rides, laser tag and more.  It is impossible to miss this Broadway at the Beach attraction. It is a large, unique looking building that resembles a tornado-struck building because it is upside down!

After you are done playing and learning with the family at WonderWorks, check out the other wonders that Broadway has to offer in way of snacks, games, and shopping.  Finish the day of independence off with a spectacular fireworks display at 10 pm, courtesy of the wondrous Broadway at the Beach.

Holiday Pelicans Baseball Game

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball team will play a game on Tuesday, July 4th at 7:05 pm.  Following the game will be holiday fireworks display. Grab their “All-American” Package which includes a ticket in the Budweiser Thirst Inning Deck, a 24 oz. Budweiser draft beer (soda for guests under 21), a hot dog, Cracker Jacks and a mini American flag for only $17.76. Nothing says America like beer, baseball and 1776, so don’t miss it!

Murrells Inlet Boat Parade & Fireworks

Just south of Myrtle Beach, you can experience a waterfront spot lined with bars and restaurants where the 34th annual 4th of July boat parade sails along the shore. The parade is on July 4 and begins at 4pm from Garden City Point. It will flow by the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk and float along to the destination near the Hot Fish Club.
