Nearby Attraction Spotlight: 2nd Avenue Pier
If you are staying at Landmark Resort and wish to explore the restaurants and attractions nearby then make sure you check out the 2nd Avenue Pier. About one mile north of Landmark Resort you will find a pier that offers sights to see, fish to catch, food to eat, drinks to drink and souvenirs to collect.
Fishing
As far as fishing goes, 2nd Avenue Pier has you covered. From fishing passes at $9.00 per person to rod rental packages which include a rod, pass and bait for $25.00 per person the pier supplies all you need for a fishing outing. It is not required that you have a South Carolina fishing license because the pier has a commercial license. You may hook fish like finger mullet to flounder to Spanish and king mackerel, to barracuda and trout.
Dining
The Pier House Restaurant is located on one of the upper levels of the pier and offers a wide view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Some of the freshest seafood and great service is what you will experience at The Pier House. Some of their menu include: breakfast, fresh salads, succulent sandwiches, seafood and juicy steaks. Open Air Bar
Open Air Bar is at the top floor of the pier and has an elevator for those who may have trouble with stairs. The bar has an outdoor wrap around porch with comfortable seating and a bar close by.
