Market Common- Valor Park brings beautiful scenery to the sky line of The Market Common. This niche in Myrtle Beach is located south of Landmark Resort, and is less than a 10 minute drive. There is a playground, pond, and open grassy areas at Valor Park. If you want to catch a live sporting event, many tournaments take place at the Grand Park Athletic Complex located right in Market Common including youth and adult softball, flag football and more. This is a perfect place to bring the kids with varying favorite sports so that everyone is happy!
2nd Avenue Pier- Fishing is a popular pastime among families. Myrtle Beach has plenty of fishing opportunities yet the Second Avenue Pier is only a mile from Landmark Resort. Pelicans Baseball- If your family is the type to watch sports over preference to playing them, check out this Myrtle Beach baseball team. Beginning in April of 2015, the Pelicans’ season kicks off with home games scattered throughout the spring and summer when they will be slamming pitches and hitting it out of the park. This family activity will be one to remember and the kids will enjoy taking pictures with the Pelicans’ mascot!
