A Day in the Life of a Landmark Visitor
Embark and indulge in the foods and fun that Myrtle Beach has to offer while staying at the Landmark Resort with your family.
Here is your guide!
Fact: The less time you spend on traveling, the more time you have for fun! If you are staying at the Landmark Resort, this guide can help you in choosing a day of activities while staying within a reasonable range of the resort, and will help to be efficient on gas and time.
To start your day, the Landmark Resort has on site breakfast dining at The Gazebo Restaurant that daily serves a classic breakfast menu along with a hearty buffet. Breakfast is not included with your reservation but you can pay a reduced price on it by including the breakfast in purchase with your reservation. If a light breakfast with coffee is more your style, there is a Havana Java coffee bar that serves Starbucks coffee, located conveniently in the lobby.
An economical way to enjoy your midday without having to break for lunch is by packing your own! Bring a cooler with drinks, sandwiches and snacks and take the family to Myrtle Waves Water Park (located at 3000 10th Ave. North). This is South Carolina's largest water park and has 22 attractions! Be sure to bring your VMB Card for a discount on admission. A water-filled, fun day at the park calls for a shower and a hearty meal at the Pier House Restaurant (located at 110 North Ocean Blvd.) where you can enjoy the sunset and your dinner all at once. ThePier House is reasonably priced and their menu is seafood focused, yet it does have a wide variety of options to satisfy most any food craving.
Once dinner is done, the warm Myrtle Beach night and the ocean breeze are wonderful company to the bustling Boardwalk. It can be enjoyed for the ocean view as you walk and perhaps grab dessert from the many Boardwalk eateries.
After a long day of food and fun you should be satisfied, sleepy and ready for bed because tomorrow you get to do it all over again!
No matter if it is a couples' retreat or if it's all of the whole family, Myrtle Beach cannot be beat as a destination that is unforgettable. Bringing your VMB Card is important, ask at the front desk and get to exploring!
