Attraction Spotlight: T.I.G.E.R.S Preservation Station

If you are staying at The Landmark Resort and looking for a special opportunity to get close with animals you never believed you could then check out the Preservation Station for an unforgettable experience with the whole family. 

T.I.G.E.R.S Preservation Station is located at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach and is home to a variety of tigers and other wild life.  It is a fundraiser to help the Rare Species Fund. T.I.G.E.R.S offers a chance to see world rarest tigers and feed into your curiosity as you get up close and personal with some of nature’s beauties.

There are Bengal tigers, Royal White tigers and the world's rarest tiger, the Golden Tabby. See them enjoying life in their beautiful outdoor habitat.  You may get the opportunity to hold a tiger cub and possibly feed it with a milk bottle. Other opportunities at T.I.G.E.R.S includes being able to hold and cuddle up our cousin species, the ape.

T.I.G.E.R.S Preservation offers a photo session with the cute tiger cubs and the awesome young apes. All of the donations from the portraits are used to go into the International Wild life conservation projects to care and maintain these rare animals. Other animals that call T.I.G.E.R.S their home are birds, elephants, ligers and the binturong. 

The conservation is open to the public from March 15 through October 11 daily. Their hours do vary throughout the year.  Call 843-361-4552 for the current hours when visiting.

Chances are this opportunity is not available to you at home. Take advantage of being in Myrtle Beach and check the wonderful animals at T.I.G.E.R.S because no photo is comparable to real life wildlife  standing an inch of glass away from you or less. It is an experience you will remember for a lifetime and a story your kids will love telling over and over again.
