What’s on the menu: The Sea Captain’s House received Southern Living’s ‘Best Seafood Restaurant Reader’s Choice’ award. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, they have something on the menu to please everyone. Traditional favorites like country ham and eggs benedict can be a great way to start your busy day of being lazy at the beach, while a mid day meal of fried seafood baskets, sandwiches, salads and homemade soups are also available. If you try the Sea Captain’s House for dinner, make sure you try the locals favorite Long Bay Stuffed Flounder or the Jambalaya. The dining room is sure to make you feel right at home as it is actually a dining room in a home. The unique atmosphere and excellent food are a must try during your stay.
