Carolina Opry
Carolina Opry in Myrtle Beach features four different shows over the course of the year, each of them being equally exciting and entertaining.
The first show is the original Carolina Opry which combines humor, dancing, and music from all genres. The cast of 36 of the nation's top performers put on a spectacular show that has been called "A Hot Ticket" by the New York Post. The show is continually updated with new music and comedy so that you can go back time and time again and expect new surprises that are sure to thrill!
The second show featured at the Carolina Opry is "Good Vibrations" which includes the best music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s blended with multimedia screens, special effects, and elaborate costuming all performed live by an award winning cast. This show is fast paced with high energy and will take you back to the times of the best American popular music.
The third show at the Opry is the Carolina Opry Christmas Special. Featured every year around the Holidays, the Opry brings you the spirit of Christmas through music, comedy and dance. Each holiday season brings a new surprise, so be sure to check in with the Opry and catch a show during the holiday season!
The last and newest show to come to the Opry is the Light Laser Show where you can "See the Music." Set to different themes each night, Lasers are displayed around the room and move to the beat of the music that is playing making for a fantastic, energetic light show that you wont want to miss out on! in Myrtle Beach features four different shows over the course of the year, each of them being equally exciting and entertaining.
Legends in Concert
The same great Legends in Concert show in an amazing new place is now open at Broadway at the Beach with shows every night! The Legends In Concert tribute show has been a Myrtle Beach area favorite for a number of years and the hit show is continuing its current format where five celebrity tribute acts ranging from Madonna to the Blues Brothers to Elvis to Cher and many other will rotate performances. Be sure to catch a show while you're in town! You won't be disappointed!
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is the nation's #1 and longest-running dinner attraction and it's located right here in Myrtle Beach for your viewing pleasure! Celebrating over 25 years of live shows, Medieval Times combines history with entertainment and food bringing viewers a Dinner Show centered around the heroic knights on Andalusian horses displaying athletic feats and thrilling swordplay. Palace Theatre
Jersey Nights is now playing at the famous Palace Theatre, located at Broadway at the Beach, right in the heart of Myrtle Beach. This show is filled with songs from Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. From the original style of dress, to the sounds of the great original hits, this show will fill you with memories from the past. If you are looking for a night of magic fun, the Palace Theatre is also hosting Masters of Illusion, which is a spectacular new show for 2013. Pirate’s Voyage
Pirate's Voyage is DOlly Parton's newest venture and it is the newest show to hit Myrtle Beach. Located at the old Dixie Stampede, this new show features The Spirit of Blackbeard and Anne Bonnie sailing the coast of the Carolinas. Guests can enjoy a pirate-themed meal during a show where each side of the arena helps determine whether the Crimson pirates or the Sapphire pirates take the treasure!The new arena is set up with a 15-foot-deep indoor lagoon with a full-sized pirate ship where the pirates battle each other to the cheers and delight of their fans! Not only do the pirates interact in the show, but there are also real live animals that participate in the competition! Enjoy the interactive entertainment throughout the year in Myrtle Beach. The Alabama Theatre
The Alabama Theatre’s new 2013 production of ONE The New Show, delivers again big time. Recently Voted the # 1 Live Entertainment Theatre by Myrtle Beach Visitors, the Theatre’s ONE The New Show, continues to evolve year after year as it introduces iconic production numbers and visual elements to hit songs from many musical genres. Critics are calling the show “A Mega Hit.” Gaylord Entertainment Co, owners of the Grand Ol’ Opry in Nashville and the producer for ONE, have made huge, major additions to this year’s show. ONE delivers an incredible entertainment experience to audiences night after night featuring everything from Country, Rock, Gospel, Pop, Broadway, and plenty of great family comedy. The Alabama Theatre’s featured Holiday production, The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, plays six nights a week during November and December with select matinees.
