Zombies invade Myrtle Beach! Run, or walk for your lives - and a great cause!

By Landmark

Run for Your Lives, the 5K Zombie Marathon has been attracting national attention on major media sources like CNN, but did you know that Myrtle Beach has been home of its very own zombie WALK for the last 4 years?

Each year, the Myrtle Beach Zombie Walk benefits a local organization, and this, their 5th year is no different. On Saturday, April 21, 2012 hordes of zombies will converge on Myrtle Beach to shamble in support of Project Lighthouse at Sea Haven.  The cost to walk is $5 per person, or for $10 per person you can walk and then enjoy all of the afterwalk parties and festivities.

You can come already in costume, or visit one of The Zombie Rescue stations to get infected. The Zombie Rescue stations  will be open from 11 AM – 4:30 PM so walkers can be bitten…er…transformed by a team of professional makeup artists before the walk starts at 5 PM.

There will be contests and prizes along with food, drinks and live entertainment. The Landmark Resort is the perfect place to hole up to plan your zombie defense strategies as we’re a hop, skip and a stagger from the heart of the zombie apocalypse.
