July 4thJuly just might be the most favored month of the year. There is tons of excitement involved with summer vacation, celebrating America's Independence on the Fourth of July, beach time, fireworks and much more.  Besides the constant pool games and cookouts at Landmark Resort, discover how the Myrtle Beach area is celebrating summer:

There are parades for July 4th country wide, but what is more special than a parade on the water?  Bring your family to Murrells Inlet and join the onlookers watching the boats celebrate the founding fathers with American colors along the bustling shores in Murrells Inlet.  The best places for onlookers to gather are at the MarshWalk, Belin Methodist Church and Jetty View Walk. The boat parade will begin at 12:00 pm.  The MarshWalk restaurants will be hosting the night time fireworks that end the celebration spectacularly.  While you're in the Inlet for the day, enjoy your dining experience at Hot Fish Club with seafood, steak and a waterfront view.  Bring your VMB Card and enjoy a complimentary appetizer with a purchase of one entree.

On July 6th race over to Broadway Grand Prix across from Broadway at the Beach for the Myrtle Beach Caribbean Festival.   The outdoor festival will begin at 11am until 11pm.  The festival will have food like authentic Caribbean dishes and vendors set up selling arts and crafts.  There will be activities for children, a bike and car show and live entertainment with music and more like steel drum performers, and celebrity and local acts such as Rebel Vybez, Da' Gullah Rootz, Lady Impress, Reggae Infinity and International Morality.

Myrtle Beach is the golf capital of the United States, which makes it the perfect place to hold the Annual Father and Son Team Golf Classic.  This family event has become the largest father-son golf tournament in the world.  Make sure to get your registration in by June 30th to be qualified to play with your son this season.  There will be family events within the tournament like a cookout, father & son skills challenge and a demo alley at Barefoot Resort & Golf Driving Range.  From Friday, July 24th to Saturday July 26th there will be contests and cookouts amidst the tournament.  Don't miss making a lasting memory with your son while you enjoy the beautiful courses in Myrtle Beach and appreciate the game of golf. Call 866-497-2627 to register today!

Take advantage of July by enjoying your family, the events and the scenery of this wildly popular vacation destination.  Landmark Resort will provide you with a comfortable stay and plenty of family entertainment as will this beach side city. Enjoy your stay!
