Myrtle Beach SkyWheel and BoardwalkThere are many Ferris wheels all around the country, but few offer a view comparable to the view seen from the top of the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel.  In the heart of Myrtle Beach, on the downtown Boardwalk it is impossible to miss the sky high SkyWheel.

The SkyWheel holds the title for the second tallest Ferris wheel in North America, standing at 187 feet tall.  It is perfect for all ages, family and definitely has a romantic feel for couples, especially at night. Enjoy a peripheral view of Myrtle Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.

The gondola that you ride in is enclosed and can hold two to six people at one time. It is wheelchair accessible and infants are welcome and ride for free until two years of age. The hours of operation are Sunday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and can vary based on season. The ride lasts about 10 minutes and is $9 for children and $13 for adults ages 12 and older.

The SkyWheel is surrounded by the Boardwalk and in downtown Myrtle Beach there are plenty of other exhilarating, sky-touching rides to enjoy.  Snack shops, bars and restaurants also accompany the SkyWheel along the ocean.  Bring your VMB Card for discounts on your tickets valid up to 6 people before 7 p.m.!
