Lights, Camera, LANDMARK RESORT! The sights and sounds of Myrtle Beach brought to you in video!
In recent months, Myrtle Beach has been the site of film crews gathering footage for the HBO hit series Eastbound & Down, featuring Danny McBride with appearances by Matthew McConaughey and Will Ferrell. The opening credits of the show feature panoramic shots of the Grand Strand including the Myrtle Beach Skywheel and Ocean Boulevard. If you watch closely you'll even see our VacationMyrtleBeach.com billboard that we proudly display at Coastal Field where some of the episodes were filmed as home of the fictional Myrtle Beach Mermen!
The Landmark Resort has been the home of some film crews of our own, as we’ve been filming promotional commercials that feature our awesome convention space and sales team. In addition to that, we’ve also been filming material to feature on social media platforms like Facebook and Youtube so we can show the world what that having fun is what we’re all about!
