Green Beer and Great Fun on St. Patrick’s Weekend in Myrtle Beach
St Patrick’s weekend in Myrtle Beach offers a host of events up and down the Grand Strand, and Landmark Resort is central to all of it. From parades to parties, we've got something for everyone!
Downtown Myrtle Beach will host its annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, which is a giant street festival, on March 14th from 11:00 am to 10 pm. While green beers and Irish food will be abundant, there will also be an alcohol free Kids Zone. In addition to the festival, there will be all day music performances by the following bands: Dino Capone’s School of Rock, The Reggie Sullivan Band, the Paul Grimshaw Band, A Nickel Bag of Funk, The Delta Saints and Honor By August. On Sunday, March 15th the music will continue from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will include a “battle of the bands” where over half a dozen regional bands will compete to land a spot on the roster for Hot Summer Nights annual entertainment.
Market Common is also hosting their 6th Annual Irish Fest. Held in Valor Park, this festival will feature Irish food, beer and entertainment as well as lots of activities for the kids that will run on Saturday, March 14th from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Best of all, you can walk a short distance to more St. Patty’s Day parties at one of Market Common’s many bars and restaurants.
As always, the Landmark features a wide variety of craft beers and great bar specials, so you can always celebrate in Latitudes Bar & Grill and then take the elevator home!
