Before Booking: What You Need to Know

Being well informed involving the specifics of booking your reservation is an important step to ensure an easy, hassle free process for planning your vacation. This comes prior to all the fun that is sure to be had here at the Landmark Resort.  Here are a few reminders and details that you should have in mind before booking your reservation:

Credit card- Whether booking online or over the phone, having your credit card ready is important because it will be required at a certain point during your booking transaction. 

Check-in age- When booking for any hotel, there is a minimum age allowance for age of the person that is booking as well as the person checking in for the room. Here at Landmark the minimum age is 21. You must bring a valid identification card to show at the front desk.

Payment- There are a few options for the payment process to the resort for your stay.  You must pay for the first night's fee while booking the reservation.  If you decide to pay for your entire reservation prior to arrival, a $100 refundable security deposit will be required on the day you check in.  Also, the taxes and fees are not included in the room rates and are subject to change at any time. 

Maximum occupancy- There is a limited amount of people allowed in each room.  In order to process your reservation accurately, be sure to include the number of children and adults planning to stay in the reserved room when you are booking. 

Pets- Unfortunately, the furry friends and critters have to stay at home. No pets are allowed at the resort but there are many great local boarding facilities that offer excellent options. 

Parking- Landmark gives two free parking passes per unit to guests.  There is limited parking for large vehicles and trailers.  Be sure to call security before you arrive so that Landmark's attendants can verify that there is a spot available for any large vehicles.

Changes and cancellations- If you wish to make changes to your reservation, it must be called in and approved by a manager no later than 48 hours prior to your arrival.  Making changes to the dates or length of time will cancel your prior rate and you will receive a recalculated price along with a new conformation.  Life does get in the way of our plans sometimes and Landmark understands this.  That is why, when you cancel before seven days of your planned check-in date, you will only be charged a $25 fee and you are not responsible for any further payment.

Additional requests- There might be a specific room you are requesting to have, such as handicap or smoking rooms.  There are rooms to accommodate these preferences, and be sure to mention your desire for such upon booking. Requests cannot be guaranteed but we do our best to honor them.

Deals and coupons- There are discounts to be had on meals at the resort if you pay in advance so be sure to ask about this when booking with Landmark.  When you do check in, the VMB card is something you will want to pick up from the front desk because it can be your money saving friend during your stay in Myrtle Beach.
